Women's Tennis Drops Match To Colgate, 6-1

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Holy Cross women's tennis team fell 6-1 to Colgate on Saturday afternoon at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center on the campus of Army. The Raiders swept the doubles matches and won five of six singles matches.

The lone singles victory on the day was by junior Meredith Bacon (Hanover, N.H.), who defeated Lauren Levy in three sets 4-6, 6-4, 10-3 in the sixth slot.

Sophomore Katie Guarino (Reading, Mass.) had the next best opporunity in singles but was not able to overcome Cameron Thaney in the fifth spot, falling 6-4, 6-4.

The Crusader women will play again tommorrow at Army at 1:00 p.m.
