Women’s Tennis Announces 2013 Fall Schedule
WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross athletic director Richard M. Regan, Jr. and head women's tennis coach Lisa Meola have announced the Crusaders' 2013 fall schedule. Holy Cross will play eight matches including five at home, as well as one tournament.
The 2013 season will open with a home match on Monday, Sept. 9 versus Bryant and will continue that Friday with a second home match versus Siena (Sept. 13). Following these contests, the team will compete in the Salve Regina Doubles Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 14 at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, R.I. and will arrive back at its home courts the next day for a match against Connecticut College (Sept. 15). The Crusaders will then have two consecutive away matches against Merrimack (Sept. 17) and Assumption (Sept. 25). The next week they play against Providence at home (Sept. 29) and travel to Stonehill (Oct. 1). The team then closes out its regular fall season with a home match against Simmons (Oct. 6).
