  • The Holy Cross women's tennis team will take a break in action until Saturday, March 19 when it hosts Clark for the first home game of the spring season. The match, to be held on the Holy Cross Tennis Courts, is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.  
  • Head coach Lisa Meola is a1998 graduate of Clark and also began her tennis coaching career there in 2004. The Cougars, a Division III squad, finished their fall season with a 4-8 record, losing to Springfield College, 7-2, in the last match.
  • This will be the first time in the 2000's that Holy Cross and Clark have matched-up. Holy Cross has collected an 8-2 record against Division III squads in its last 10 meetings. The Crusaders are 0-2 against Division III squads this season, dropping decisions to Trinity and Bowdoin.
  • Junior Carolyn Chandley (Worcester, Mass.), who spent last semester abroad, returned to the team in the 7-0 loss against Sacred Heart on Saturday. She dropped her No. 2 singles decision in straight sets and also teamed up with sophomore Maya Welch (Rye, N.Y.) in No. 2 doubles action. Chandley owns a singles career record of 16-25.
