  • The Crusaders look to end their fall slate on a strong note, as they aim for their first win. The Hawks come to Worcester with a 0-1 record in dual match play, having lost to Siena in late September. Holy Cross won both meetings last year, including a 5-2 victory last fall and currently own a six-game win streak against the Hawks, dating back to the 2004 fall season.
  • Junior Emily Marr (Jefferson, Mass.) is the one of two players on the current roster to post a win against the Hawks. Last fall, Marr took a 6-1, 6-1 straight-set victory at No. 3 singles. She also won in straight sets in the spring, recording a 6-2, 6-0 final tally. Junior Lauren Evans (Visalia, Calif.), who is currently studying abroad, took a win at No. 6 singles, 8-3.
  • Head coach Lisa Meola changed up her doubles lineup against Bowdoin this past weekend. Freshman Molly Montgomery (Winnetka, Ill.) and Marr played together for the first time at No. 1 doubles, falling 8-4. Freshman Maya Welch (Rye, N.Y.) and junior Emma Rudnik (Lake Bluff, Ill.) also teamed up for the first time at No. 2 doubles, dropping an 8-3 decision.
