Women's Tennis Drops Match To Siena, 6-1

WORCESTER, Mass. - Junior Emily Marr (Jefferson, Mass.) earned the Crusaders' lone point as the Holy Cross women's tennis team fell to Siena, 6-1, on Saturday afternoon at the Holy Cross Tennis Courts. With the loss, the Crusaders fall to 0-2, while the Saints improve to 1-0.

Marr won the No. 2 singles match by defeating Danielle Crill, 6-4, 6-3. Siena started the competition by winning all three doubles matches to secure the doubles point and then won five of the six singles matches for the 6-1 victory.

The Crusaders return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 22, when they play at Trinity for a match at 3:30 p.m.
