PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Heavy rains cancelled the doubles portion of the Holy Cross women's tennis team's first dual match as Providence swept the singles segment to hand the Crusaders a 6-0 loss at the Providence Tennis Courts on Thursday afternoon. With the result, the Crusaders collect a record of 0-1 while the Friars open up their dual match season with a record of 1-0.
