Holy Cross closed out the regular season, defeating Bryant 150-112 on Tuesday, Feb. 3 in Worcester, Mass.
Before the meet against Bryant, the Crusaders honored seniors Dana Jorgensen (New City, N.Y.), Caitlin Duggan (Norwood, Mass.), Emily Cupelo (Manlius, N.Y.) and Mary-Elizabeth Maher (Milford, Mass.) for their hard work and commitment to Holy Cross swimming and diving team.
The Crusaders begin preparing for the Patriot League Championships held in Lewisburg, Pa. on Feb. 19-21.
Last season the Crusaders finished eighth at the Patriot League Championships. Junior Maggie Gousman (Fanwood, N.J.) was the top finisher with an eighth place finish in the 100 breast with a school record breaking time of 1:06.90. Gousman also finished 10th in the 200 breast with a school record time of 2:25.60 and 13th in the 200 IM with a time of 2:12.19.
