Swimming & Diving Competes At ECACs

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Freshman Adam DeVito (Walpole, Mass.) finished eighth in the three meter dive competition as three members of the Holy Cross men's and women's swimming and diving team competed at the ECAC Open Swimming & Diving Championships in Cambridge, Mass. Feb. 28-March. 1.

DeVito finished in eighth place with 185.15 points leading the Crusaders at the Championship event. Junior Maggie Gousman (Fanwood, N.J.) finished in 13th place in the 100 breast with a time of 1:07.66. Gousman also competed in the 200 breast, finishing with a time of 2:30.05. Junior Alisha Carrazza (Boonton Township, N.J.) took 22nd in the 200 free with a time of 1:57.21, competed in the 50 free finishing with a time of 25.16 and swam the 100 free with a time of 55.02.

The men's and women's swimming and diving teams have concluded the 2008-2009 season.
