LEWISBURG, Pa. - Junior Maggie Gousman (Fanwood, N.J.) finished 13th in the 200 breast as the Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team concluded competition at the Patriot League Championships at Bucknell's Kinney Natatorium Saturday night. The Crusaders finished in eighth place with 144 points. Colgate claimed first place with 862 points, Navy took second with 759.5 points, Bucknell finished third with 656.5 points, American in fourth (315.5 points), Army in fifth (303 points), Lehigh in sixth (262.5 points) and Lafayette in seventh (180 points).
Gousman led the Crusaders with a 13th place finish in the 200 breast with a time of 2:27.42. Freshman Maggie Beaudouin (Madison, N.J.) finished 19th in the 1650 free with a time of 18:29.01. Gousman and Beaudouin teamed up with freshman Annie O'Shea (Washington, D.C.) and junior Alisha Carrazza (Boonton Township, N.J.) to take eighth in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:40.93.
The Crusaders wrapped up competition at the Patriot League Championships and conclude the 2008-2009 season.
