Women's Swimming & Diving Places Seven On PL Academic Honor Roll
WORCESTER, Mass. – Seven members of the Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team have been named to the 2014 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office. Senior Kelsey Poremba (Bedford, N.H.) led the team with a 4.00 grade-point average and was named to the team for the fourth straight season.
Senior Cassandra Perry (Sudbury, Mass.) and junior Anna Villani (Hanover, Mass.) each made the team for the third straight season while sophomore Claire O'Brien (Bedford, N.Y.) and freshmen Kristin Lane (White Plains, N.Y.), Adriana Lebowitz (Orange, Conn.) and Alicia Perry (Sudbury, Mass.) each made the team for the first time.
A total of 149 student-athletes from women's swimming and diving teams around the league were named to the Honor Roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll a winter or spring sport student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester.
