WORCESTER, Mass. - Senior Maggie Beaudouin (Madison, N.J.) has been named the AT&T Crusader of the Week, for competition from January 16-22. Beaudouin was named the Swimmer of the Meet at last weekend's Worcester City Championship, after leading the Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team to a first place finish.
At the Worcester City Championship, Beaudouin set new meet records while winning the 200-yard backstroke (2:11.85) and the 400-yard individual medley (4:46.98). She claimed a third individual event title by winning the 100-yard backstroke (1:02.24). In addition, Beaudouin swam a leg on four relay teams which claimed first place – the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:42.62), the 200-yard medley relay (1:55.70), the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:44.87) and the 400-yard medley relay (4:08.52). Both the 200-yard freestyle and 400-yard medley relay teams also set new meet records.
The Crusaders return to action this Saturday, Jan. 28, when they face Providence in their final home meet of the season at 1:00 p.m.
