- The Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team (0-4 overall, 0-1 Patriot League) will take a break from action until after the winter break. The Crusaders return to competition on Jan. 20-21 when they host the Worcester City Championship.
- Last season the women's team won the 10th annual Worcester City Championship. Junior Kristen Desrosiers (Gorham, Maine) was named the Swimmer of the Meet for setting meet records in the 200 IM (2:12.29), 200 Free (1:59.96 ) and 100 fly (1:00.81). Also leading Holy Cross with first place finishes was junior Katelyn Desrosiers (Gorham, Maine) with first place finishes in the 400 IM (4:53.88) and 200 breast (2:36.01). Junior Natalie Livingston (Auburn, Wash.) finished first in the 100 breast (1:12.04).
- Kristen Desrosiers ranks 14th in the Patriot League in the 400 IM (4:40.33). In the 400 Free, senior Annie O'Shea (Washington, D.C.) ranks 14th (4:56.51), junior Gina Mannix (Larchmont, N.Y.) ranks 15th (4:57.29) and freshman Mary Kate Schulte (Des Moines, Iowa) ranks 16th (4:58.57). Senior Maggie Beaudouin (Madison, N.J.) is 15th in the 800 Free (10:07.65) while Schulte ranks 16th (10:09.27). Livingston holds the 19th ranked time in the 100 Breast (1:09.92).
- Following the Worcester City Championship, the Crusaders will swim in two dual meets before traveling to Navy for the Patriot League Championship on Feb. 16-18. Holy Cross hosts Providence on Jan. 28 for the final home meet of the season and then will travel to Bryant on Feb 4.
