Kristen Desrosiers

WORCESTER, Mass.  – Junior Kristen Desrosiers (Gorham, Maine) led the Crusaders by placing in three events on the day, but the Holy Cross women's swimming & diving team could not keep pace, falling 173-119 to Springfield College Saturday afternoon at the Hart Center. Desrosiers won the 200 IM (2:15.66), finished second in the 200 free (2:01:14) and claimed third place in the 100 free (55.93).

Other top performers for the Crusaders included seniors Maggie Beaudouin (Madison, N.J.) and Annie O'Shea (Washington, D.C.). Beaudouin had a pair of second place finishes in the 100 back (1:04.91) and 200 back (2:17.70). O'Shea touched the wall in first place in the 200 fly (2:19.14).

The Crusaders will take a couple weeks off, returning to the pool on Nov. 18 for the Terrier Invitational hosted by Boston University.
