Women’s Swimming & Diving Loses To Siena, 169-127

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's swimming & diving team was defeated by Siena this evening in duel meet competition by a score of 169-127. The Crusaders now have an overall duel meet record of 0-3 (0-1 Patriot League) while Siena moves to 2-1 on the season.

Senior Maggie Beaudouin (Madison, N.J.) led Holy Cross with a victory in the 100 Backstroke in a time of 2:00.99.

Three Crusader swimmers finished the evening with a pair of second place finishes. Junior Kristen Desrosiers (Gorham, Maine) had second place finishes in the 500 Free (2:16.42) and 200 IM (2:18.24). Junior Natalie Livingston (Auburn, Wash) finished second in the 100 Back (1:04.91) and 200 Breast (1:04.70). Freshman Mary Kate Schulte (Des Moines, Iowa) was runner-up in the 1000 Free (4:17.77) and the 50 Free.

Holy Cross continues action this weekend when they host Springfield for another duel meet on Saturday, Oct. 29. Competition will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Hart Center in Worcester, Mass.
