WORCESTER, Mass. – Sixteen members of the Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team have been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll as announced by the league office. Junior Maggie Beaudouin (Madison, N.J.) was named to the honor roll for the third consecutive time after completing the spring semester with a 3.57 grade point average.
Sophomore Laura Webber (Hampden, Mass.) was named to the list for the second after finishing with a team-best 3.93 GPA. Seniors Erin Meegan (Woodbine, Md.) and Gael Carter (Tampa, Fla.), as well as sophomores Nicole Passa (East Greenwich, R.I.) and Jill Chudwick (Farmington, Conn.) were also named to the honor roll for a second time.
First-time honorees include seniors Emily Greeke (Hamilton, Mass.), Sarah Kearns (Marion, Mass.), and Sam Lenhardt (Duxbury, Mass.), juniors Lindsay Mlazgar (Bloomington, Minn.) and Colleen Bucci (Falmouth, Maine), sophomores Katelyn Desrosiers (Gorham, Maine), Gina Mannix (Larchmont, N.Y.) and Clare Reidy (Northford, Conn.) and freshmen Megan Marrkand (Westford, Mass.) and Kelsey Poremba (Bedford, N.H.).
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a winter or spring sport student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester. Bucknell led all Patriot League schools with 24 student-athletes making the Academic Honor Roll, while Lafayette finished close behind with 23. Holy Cross added 16 student-athletes for Honor Roll selection, while Lehigh tallied 12.
