Crusaders Prepare To Race Providence

  • The Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team will travel to Providence, R.I. on Saturday, Jan. 29 for a dual meet with the Friars starting at 1:00 p.m.
  • The meet against Providence will be Holy Cross' first dual meet of the new year. Last season, Holy Cross defeated the Friars 170-127 at the Hart Center. The Crusaders won 10 events, including opening the meet with a win in the 400 medley relay.
  • Last weekend, the Crusaders won their 10th team title at the Worcester City Championship. The Crusaders won 12 events, setting meet records in eight of them. Sophomore Kristen Desrosiers (Gorham, Maine) was named the Swimmer of the Meet for her record-breaking performances in the 200 IM, 200 free, 100 fly, 400 medley relay and 400 free relay.
  • Holy Cross returns to the Hart Center for its final home meet of the season on Feb. 5 against Bryant at 1:00 p.m. The Crusaders will honor their seniors prior to the start of the meet. Following the meet against Bryant, Holy Cross will begin preparations for the Patriot League Championship on Feb. 17-19.
