Crusaders Set For Thanksgiving Break, Return To Pool In December

  • The Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team will take Thanksgiving break off before traveling to the Harold Anderson Invitational in Kingston, R.I. on Dec. 4-5.
  • At last weekend's Terrier Invitational, junior Gael Carter (Tampa, Fla.) recorded three personal-best times. Carter finished with a time of 59.97 in the 100 back, 2:13.70 in the 200 back and 59.70 in the 100 fly. Sophomore Kendra Kline (Queensburg, N.Y.) finished with four personal-best times; 26.32 in the 50 free, 57.50 in the 100 free, 2:38.49 in the 200 breast and 2:20.15 in the 200 IM. Senior Lauren Tatro (Charlotte, N.C.) recorded a personal-best in the 100 fly with a time of 1:03.23, while sophomore Madison Walsh (Ridgefield, Conn.) recorded personal-best times in the 100 free (57.76) and 200 back (2:19.70).
  • Multiple Holy Cross 400 individual medley competitors recorded personal-best times at the Terrier Invitational. Senior Alisha Carrazza (Boonton Township, N.J.) recorded a personal-best time of 4:54.09, senior Maggie Gousman (Fanwood, N.J.) recorded a personal best time of 4:51.63, junior Erin Meegan (Woodbine, Md.) had a personal-best time of 5:01.16 and sophomore Annie O'Shea (Washington, D.C.) finished with a time of 4:56.85.
  • The 400 free relay team just missed breaking the school record at last weekend's Terrier Invitational. Freshman Laura Webber (Hampden, Mass.), freshman Kristen Desrosiers (Gorham, Maine), Carter and Carrazza teamed up to finish with a time of 3:39.61, missing the school record of 3:38.08 set in 2007.
