Crusaders Welcome Army To Hart Center

  • The Holy cross women's swimming and diving will continue action at the Hart Center, hosting Patriot League opponent Army on Wednesday, November 11 at 4:00 p.m.
  • Last season the Crusaders fell to the Black Knights, 166-134, in West Point. Senior Maggie Gousman (Fanwood, N.J.) led the Crusaders with first place finishes in the 100 breast (1:08.66) and 200 breast (2:31.85). The 200 medley relay team was also victorious. Gousman, along with junior Gael Carter (Tampa, Fla.), sophomore Annie O'Shea (Washington, D.C.) and senior Alisha Carrazza (Boonton Township, N.J), took first with a time of 1:55.06.
  • Gousman was named the Patriot League Swimmer of the Week last week for her performances against Siena and Springfield. This was the third time that Gousman has received Swimmer of the Week honors.
  • Holy Cross' dual meet against Army will be its last home competition before winter break. The Crusaders will compete in the Terrier Invitational on Nov. 20-22 and in the Harold Anderson Invitational on Dec. 4-5, before the end of the fall semester. Holy Cross will return to the Hart Center on Jan. 22 for the Worcester City Championship.
