Crusaders Take A Week Off, Welcome Army On Nov. 11

  • The Holy cross women's swimming and diving will continue action at the Hart Center, hosting Patriot League opponent Army on Wednesday, November 11 at 4:00 p.m. Last season the Crusaders fell to the Black Knights, 166-134, in West Point.
  • In this past week's competitions, senior Maggie Gousman (Fanwood, N.J.) continued to lead the Crusaders with a first place finish in the 200 IM against Siena and victories in the 100 breast, 200 breast and 200 IM against Springfield. Gousman has led Holy Cross with a first place finish in every meet this year.
  • Holy Cross was out touched by Springfield on Saturday, Oct. 31. The Crusaders fell to the Pride by one point. The final outcome of the meet came down to the final event with the Crusaders needing to win the 200 free relay or take second and third. Holy Cross was unable to beat out Springfield, falling 150.5-149.5.
