WORCESTER, Mass. - Ten members of the Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team have been selected to the 2009 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office, including senior Mary-Elizabeth Maher (Milford, Mass.) who made the Academic Honor Roll for the fourth time.
The other members of the team to be named to the honor roll were seniors Emily Cupelo (Manlius, N.Y.), Caitlin Duggan (Norwood, Mass.) and Dana Jorgensen (New City, N.Y.); juniors Alisha Carrazza (Boonton Township, N.J.) and Maggie Gousman (Fanwood, N.J.); and freshmen Maggie Beaudouin (Madison, N.J.), Kendra Kline (Queensburg, N.Y.), Madison Walsh (Ridgefield, Conn.) and Anna Whelan (Westwood, Mass.).
A total of 112 student-athletes from women's swimming and diving teams around the league were named to the honor roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the Patriot League sponsored winter or spring championship sports.
