WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross softball team has announced its 2008 fall schedule. The Crusaders will play three weekends in a row at home before traveling for the final two contests of the season. The team will begin competition on Sept. 13, when they host New Haven in a doubleheader at home starting at noon. The following weekend, on Sept. 20, the Crusaders will compete in an inter-squad purple and white game at noon. The team will end its homestand on Sept. 28, when it hosts American International College at 11 a.m. and Boston University at 3 p.m. On Oct. 5, the Crusaders will travel to Assumption for a double-header starting at noon. The last games of the fall season will be played on Oct. 11, when the team travels to Manchester, N.H. to take on Dartmouth at 11 a.m. and the hosting team St. Anselm at 1 p.m. The complete 2008 Holy Cross fall softball schedule follows.
