Softball Places 10 On Academic All-League Team

WORCESTER, Mass. - 10 members of the Holy Cross softball team have been selected to the 2007 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, including senior Sheena Stangler (Bremerton, Wash.) who has been named to the honor roll for the fourth time and had a 3.93 for the spring semester.

The other members of the team are senior Lindsey MacNeil (Plymouth, N.H.), senior Beth Richard (Fitchburg, Mass.), junior Mallory Centonze (Victor, N.Y.), junior Caitlin Deitz (Delmar, N.Y.), junior Erica McKeever (Brookfield, Conn.), junior Rory Ogden (Latham, N.Y.), junior Kelly O'Neil (White Plains, N.Y.), freshman Mandy Correale (Peabody, Mass.) and freshman Julie Girard (Montague, Mass.).

A total of 48 student-athletes from softball teams around the league were named to the honor roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the Patriot League's six winter or 10 spring championship sports.
