WORCESTER, Mass. - Junior outfielder Jayme Elliott (Gardena, Calif.) has been named to the softball All-League second team as announced by the Patriot League Tuesday.
Elliott led the Crusaders at the plate this season totaling 36 hits with five runs batted in and one triple. She had a perfect year in the field with no errors and 71 put outs. Elliott was also a first team selection in 2005 and named to the second team last season.
Elliott will return next year with three others who played in 42 or more of the 44 games this season. The team will lose three players to graduation, Lindsey MacNeil (Plymouth, N.H.), Beth Richard (Fitchburg, Mass.) and Sheena Stangler (Bremerton, Wash.).
