Holy Cross Softball's Seniuk & Correale Named All-Patriot League

WORCESTER, Mass. - Sophomore Keeley Seniuk (Phoenix, Ariz.) and junior Mandy Correale (Peabody, Mass.) have been named to the All-Patriot League second team announced today by the League office. This is the first All-Patriot League honor for both Seniuk and Correale.
Seniuk was named to the All-Patriot League second team as an outfielder. Seniuk finished the season with a .319 batting average and she led the team with a .489 slugging percentage. She led Holy Cross with 19 runs, 43 hits and 25 RBI. Her 12 doubles are tied for second in the Patriot League.
Correale was named to the All-Patriot League second team at third base. Correale finished the season with a .265 batting average and a .932 fielding percentage. Correale was second on the team with 35 hits, her six doubles were third and her five sacrifice bunts led the Crusaders.
Holy Cross completed the season with an overall 13-34 record, the best since the 2003 season, and a 6-14 Patriot League record. The Crusaders completed their spring break trip to Kissimmee, Fla. with an overall record of 5-7, winning the last four games of the tournament. The five victories at the Rebel Spring Games is the best season-opening record for the Crusaders in the past five years. Holy Cross finished the season with a school record 101 stolen bases.
