  • The Holy Cross softball team completed its spring break trip with an overall record of 5-7, winning the last four games of the tournament. The five victories at the Rebel Spring Games is the best season-opening record for the Crusaders in the past five years.

  • Sophomore Keeley Seniuk (Phoenix, Ariz.) started the season with an eight-game hitting streak. Seniuk leads the Crusaders with a .412 batting average and five doubles.

  • Sophomore Caitlin Belanger (Fall River, Mass.) leads the Crusaders on the mound, picking up three wins in Florida. Last season, Belanger finished the season with an overall record of 1-6. Belanger has pitched in a team leading 34.1 innings with 19 strike outs and only four walks.

  • The Crusaders return to action in the Northeast, taking on Bryant in a doubleheader on March 17 starting at 3:00 p.m. in Smithfield, R.I.
