WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross outfielder Keeley Seniuk (Phoenix, Ariz.) has been named Patriot League Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 22-March 1. The Crusaders opened the 2009 season in Kissimmee, Fla. on Sunday, March 1 with a 9-7 victory over St. Bonaventure, before falling to Detroit, 5-0.
In the first two games of the season, Seniuk went 4-7 at the plate with three RBI and one run scored. Seniuk is currently on a six-game hit streak, with 10 hits in 18 at bats. Seniuk leads the Crusaders with three doubles and 13 total bases.
Holy Cross continues action at the Rebel Spring Games on Thursday, March 5, taking on Valparaiso at 9:00 a.m. and Maine at 1:00 p.m.
