Before Holy Cross: Played two years for Coach O'Brien (2001 & 2002) and two years for Coach Parker (1999 & 2000) as a pitcher on the varsity softball team at Ridgefield H.S....led her team to their best season in school-history as a senior in 2002...team won its first division title in 21 years...finished her senior year with a 21-3 record and an ERA of .44 as she led the team to the FCIAC championship game for the first time in school history...struck out 274 batters in 157 innings while only walking 34 and allowing 18 runs with 10 earned on 71 hits...pitched 12 shutouts...threw a no-hitter versus Enfield in the second round of the Class L State Tournament...batted .338 (23 for 68) with 12 runs batted in...earned All-State Class L and Academic All-State honors in 2002...three-time All-County first team member (2000, 2001 & 2002) and received All-County Honorable Mention accolades in 1999...team captain as a junior and senior...Ridgefield H.S.
