Softball Places Six On Patriot League Academic Honor Roll
WORCESTER, Mass. – Six members of the Holy Cross softball team have been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll as announced by the league office. All-Academic selection senior Erin Fleming (Townsend, Mass.) led the Crusaders in the classroom with a 3.93 grade point average in the spring semester.
Fleming and fellow senior Keeley Seniuk (Phoenix, Ariz.) were named to the honor roll for the third time, while sophomores Jenna Legros (Sandy Hook, Conn.) and Sam Fregenti (Melville, N.Y.) earned the honor for the first time in their careers. Freshmen Stephanie Carvalho (Freetown, Mass.) and Sarah Free (Claremont, Calif.) were also named to the honor roll.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a winter or spring sport student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester. Bucknell and Lafayette led all Patriot League schools with 13 student-athletes apiece making the Academic Honor Roll. Lehigh added seven student-athletes to the list, while Holy Cross followed with six. Rounding out the list were Colgate with four and Army with three.
