Holy Cross Softball To Host Pink Revolution Game On Saturday

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross softball team will host its first annual Pink Revolution Game on Saturday, April 16. The Crusaders will host Patriot League opponent Bucknell in a doubleheader starting at 12:00 p.m. at Freshman Field. Prior to the start of the game, Holy Cross Associate Athletic Director Ann Zelesky will throw out the first pitch. Audrey Kurlan Marcy (Co-founder of Pink Revolution), Jackie Peterson (Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students), Kathy Kiel (Professor of Economics) and Helen Freear-Papio (Director of the Foreign Language Assistants) will join her on the field.

The Crusaders will be selling t-shirts, 50-50 raffle tickets and collecting pledges with all proceeds going to Pink Revolution, an alliance of dedicated individuals with a unified commitment to those touched by breast cancer in the central Massachusetts area. Holy Cross will also be wearing pink jerseys to honor those affected by breast cancer.

Holy Cross (12-17 overall, 6-2 Patriot League) looks to keep its winning ways in league play with a four-game set against the Bison on April 16-17. Sunday's games will also start at 12:00 p.m.
