Jessica Pietrowicz Named Crusader Of The Week

WORCESTER, Mass. - Senior goalkeeper Jessica Pietrowicz (Worcester, Mass.) has been named the Crusader of the Week, for competition from October 29-November 4. Pietrowicz led the Holy Cross women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory at Lafayette in its only game last week.

Against Lafayette, Pietrowicz made six saves while holding the Leopards scoreless for 90 minutes. The shutout was her first of the season, and the third of her career as a Crusader. Overall this season, Pietrowicz posted a 3-7 record with a 2.42 goals against average and 72 saves.

Pietrowicz finished her collegiate career with 11 victories, 337 saves and a 2.49 goals against average. She now ranks fifth all-time at Holy Cross in career saves.

The Crusaders concluded the 2007 season with an overall record of 4-14, and placed seventh in the Patriot League with a 2-5 mark in conference games.
