Crusaders Set To Face Providence & Binghamton

Sophomore forward Lauren Wright (Biglerville, Pa.) scored Holy Cross's first goal of the year against New Hampshire.
This was the sixth goal of her collegiate career.
Junior forward Shelby Stand (Douglas, Mass.), tallied two assists for two points in the past week. Her first assist came
against New Hampshire when she sent a crossing pass towards the middle of the goal box which enabled Wright to head a
shot into the right hand corner of the goal. Her second assist came against St. Francis (Pa.) when she launched a pass up the
field to freshman midfielder Katherine Donnelly (Londonderry, N.H.), who was able to rush past the defenders and score
on a breakaway. This was the first goal of Donnelly's collegiate career.
Junior midfielder Paige Harrison (Sutton, Mass.) scored her first goal of the season and the second goal of her collegiate
career against St. Francis (Pa.). After Wright was fouled inside the goalie box, Holy Cross was awarded a penalty kick and
Harrison was able to fire the ball into the lower left corner of the net.
Junior goalie Jessica Stone (Rockville, Md.) made seven saves for the Crusaders against New Hampshire and recorded three
saves against St. Francis (Pa.).
Senior midfielder Casey Boland (Langhorne, Pa.) and junior defender Kendra Demakis (Hanover, Mass.) will lead the
team this year as co-captains.
Holy Cross returns 15 players from last year and welcomes 11 newcomers to the program.
