Women's Soccer Places 10 On Academic Honor Roll

WORCESTER, Mass. - 10 members of the Holy Cross women's soccer team have been selected to the 2005 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office. Sophomore goalie Jessica Pietrowicz (Worcester, Mass.) led the Crusaders with a 3.78 grade point average during the 2005 fall semester.

Other Holy Cross players named to the honor roll were sophomore Katherine Brower (South Windsor, Conn.), senior Amy Canning (Greenwich, Conn.), junior Meredith Davis (Worcester, Mass.), junior Natalie Gebo (Ludlow, Mass.), sophomore Christine Kingston (Natick, Mass.), junior Kristen Locke (Martinsville, N.J.), sophomore Alison Peters (Bolton, Mass.), freshman Ashley Walsh (Coronado, Calif.) and freshman Christine Winters (Wellesley, Mass.).

A total of 98 student-athletes from women's soccer teams around the league were named to the honor roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the seven League-sponsored fall championship sports.
