Women's Soccer Falls To Fairfield, 4-0

FAIRFIELD, Conn.- The Holy Cross women's soccer team fell to Fairfield, 4-0, in non-conference action on Tuesday evening. With the loss, the Crusaders fall to 2-11-2 overall, while the Stags improve to 5-4-4.
Fairfield got on the board at 5:21 into the game when MT Church scored on a penalty kick. The Stages increased their lead to 2-0 when Alex Caram netted a goal at the 41:05 mark.
In the second half, Fairfield made it a 3-0 game when Casey Frobey scored at 77:58. Frobey then scored her second goal of the game just under five minutes later to give Fairfield the 4-0 win.
The Crusaders return to action when they host Patriot League opponent Lafayette on Senior Day in the final home game of the season at Linda Johnson Smith Soccer Stadium on Saturday, October 14, at 1:00 p.m.
