BROOKLINE, Mass.- Northeastern's Kristin Kowalik scored two goals as the Holy Cross women's soccer team fell to Northeastern, 4-0 in non-conference action, on Tuesday night at Parsons Field. With the loss, the Crusaders fall to 0-3-1 overall, while the Huskies improve to 3-1-0 overall.
Kowalik began the scoring at the 16:00 mark on a cross from Siobhan Howard. Kowalik scored on a shot off the hands of junior goalie Jessica Pietrowicz (Worcester, Mass.) and into the left corner of the net.
Less than two minutes later Palmquist collected the rebound and scored from her own penalty shot. She then assisted on the next Northeastern goal, Kowalik's second of the game.
Liza Rebello scored the final Northeastern goal in the 32nd minute.
The Crusaders return to action when they host Maine at Linda Johnson Smith Stadium on Saturday, September 9, at 2:00 p.m.
