Micaela Collins Named To Women’s Soccer Academic All-Patriot League Team

WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross senior Micaela Collins (Skillman, N.J.) has earned one of 11 spots on the 2011 women's soccer Academic All-Patriot League team, as voted on by the Patriot League's women's soccer sports information directors. To be eligible for the Academic All-Patriot League team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and be a starter or key player in his/her sport.

The Academic All-Patriot League team was added for all sports beginning in the 2010-11 season to honor additional student-athletes who excel both on and off the field. The women's soccer Academic All-Patriot League team has 11 student-athletes to equal the size of the sport's All-Patriot League first team.

Collins, an accounting major, holds a 3.74 grade point average and has also been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in each of the previous three seasons.
