Holy Cross Women’s Soccer Holds Alumnae Game
WORCESTER, Mass. – On Saturday, April 16, the Holy Cross women's soccer team welcomed 20 alumnae back to Worcester and the Linda Johnson Smith Soccer Stadium for its annual alumnae game. The weather was cool and windy but the game was fast-paced and exciting.
"It is fantastic to see so many women that helped build Holy Cross soccer back on the field competing and having fun," said head coach Darren Gallagher. "Despite the chilly conditions it was a great turnout and a very competitive match. Everyone enjoyed the time spent forging future friendships and reconnecting with old faces."
After the game, alumnae were invited to attend a post-game celebration at a nearby restaurant for former team members and their families. The second annual Queen of the Hill award was handed out to Karen Norton Gregorczyk for her outstanding performance in the day's game.
