Fourteen Members Of Women’s Soccer Team Named To PL Academic Honor Roll

WORCESTER, Mass. - Fourteen members of the Holy Cross women's soccer team have been named to the 2010 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll announced today by the league. Freshman Tricia Giglio (Acton, Mass.), a Biology major, was named to the honor roll after leading the Crusaders with a 4.00 grade point average in the fall semester.

Juniors Micaela Collins (Skillman, N.J.) and Kelsey Dillon (Barrington, R.I.) were named to the honor roll for the third consecutive time. Earning the honor for the second time was senior Jenna Campagna (Berlin, Conn.), juniors Liz Early (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) and Michaela Morgan (Centerville, Ohio), along with sophomore Maura Fox (Shrewsbury, Mass.). Seniors Mary Ferketic (West Hartford, Conn.), Shelby Stand (Douglas, Mass.) and Lauren Wright (Biglerville, Pa.), as well as sophomores Kellie Wiederhold (Wyckoff, N.J.) and Ashlyn Angell (Raleigh, N.C.) and freshmen Alyssa Heiser (Bristol, Conn.) and Natalie Jenkins (John's Creek, Ga.) were honored for the first time.

A total of 110 student-athletes from eight Patriot League schools were named to the honor roll. To be eligible, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and be a member of the school's team in one of the seven Patriot League-sponsored fall championship sports.
