WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross junior Kelsey Dillon (Barrington, R.I.) has earned one of 11 spots on the inaugural women's soccer Academic All-Patriot League team, as voted on by the Patriot League's women's soccer sports information directors. To be eligible for the Academic All-Patriot League team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and be a starter or key player in his/her sport.
The Academic All-Patriot League team has been added for all sports beginning in the 2010-11 season to honor additional student-athletes who excel both on and off the field. The women's soccer Academic All-Patriot League team has 11 student-athletes to equal the size of the sport's All-Patriot League first team.
Dillon, a mathematics major, was recently named to the 2010 CoSIDA/ESPN Academic All-District second team. Dillon holds a 3.67 grade point average and has been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll twice. In 2010, Dillon played in 13 games, starting in seven.
