Holy Cross’ Collins & Dillon Earn CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors

WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross juniors Micaela Collins (Skillman, N.J.) and Kelsey Dillon (Barrington, R.I.) have been named to the 2010 CoSIDA ESPN Academic All-District second team, announced today by the Academic All-America® Committee. This is the first Academic All-District award for both student-athletes and the first time since 2002 that a member of the Holy Cross women's soccer team has received the award.

Collins, an economics major, was named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in 2008 and 2009 and holds a 3.75 grade point average. Dillon, a mathematics major, was also named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in 2008 and 2009 and has a 3.67 grade point average. Together, the duo played in a combined 30 games this season for the Crusaders, making 23 starts between the two of them.

Holy Cross concluded the 2010 season on Friday, Oct. 29 with a Patriot League game against Army.
