WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross senior forward Shelby Stand (Douglas, Mass.) has been named to the 2010 women's soccer first team All-Patriot League announced by the league today. This is the third honor for Stand, making her the first Holy Cross women's soccer player to win first team honors for three consecutive years. In 2009 Stand was also awarded third team All-Mid-Atlantic Region honors and second team All-New England honors.

Despite not playing the last four games, Stand led the Patriot League in shots, shots per game, and points per game. Stand wraps up her career fifth on Holy Cross' career points list with 67 points, her 28 career goals rank fourth and her 11 career assists are tied for eighth.

Army and Lehigh lead the Patriot League overall, each with five All-League members. Army, the 2010 regular season co-champion, also claimed Defensive Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Coach of the Year honors.
