Women's Soccer Concludes Season

- The Holy Cross women's soccer team (3-12-2 overall, 0-6-1 Patriot League) concluded the 2010 season on Friday, Oct. 29 with a Patriot League game against Army. Army's goal in the final 25 seconds of regulation, gave the Black Knights the win and home-field advantage for the Patriot League Tournament.
- Army, a seventh place pre-season selection, will host the Patriot League Tournament with Bucknell claiming the number two seed, Lehigh taking third and Colgate finishing fourth. Navy and American, both top four pre-season selections, were unable to find a way in the Tournament.
- Seniors Jenna Campagna (Berlin, Conn.), Mary Ferketic (West Hartford, Conn.) and Shelby Stand (Douglas, Mass.) were honored before the start of the game. Stand wraps up her career fifth on Holy Cross' career points list with 67 points, her 28 career goals rank fourth and her 11 career assists are tied for eighth. Ferketic's 1.64 career goals against average ranks second all-time at Holy Cross, while her 174 career saves rank ninth and her five shutouts tie for sixth.
- Despite not playing in the final four games, Stand finished the season leading the Patriot League in shots (64), shots per game (4.92) and points per game (1.23). Stand's 16 points rank fourth, her six goals are tied for third, her 0.46 goals per game rank second, her four assists tie for fifth and her 0.31 assists per game rank third.
