Ten Members Of The Women’s Soccer Team Named To Academic Honor Roll

Patriot League Academic Honor Roll release

WORCESTER, Mass. - Ten members of the Holy Cross women's soccer team have been named to the 2009 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll announced today by the league. Junior Kaitlyn Friday (Southborough, Mass.) led the Crusaders with a 3.93 grade-point average. Friday, an Economics major, was named to the honor roll for the third consecutive time.

Seniors Kendra Demakis (Hanover, Mass.), Paige Harrison (Sutton, Mass.) and Megan Metzger (Warwick, N.Y.) were also honored by the league. Sophomores Micaela Collins (Skillman, N.J.) and Kelsey Dillon (Barrington, R.I.) were named to the honor roll for the second time, while sophomores Katherine Donnelly (Londonderry, N.H.), Liz Early (Rockville Center, N.Y.) and Michaela Morgan (Centerville, Ohio) were honored for the first time. Freshman Maura Fox (Shrewsbury, Mass.) also earned a spot on the honor roll.  

A total of 105 student-athletes from eight Patriot League schools were named to the honor roll. To be eligible, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and be a member of the school's team in one of the seven Patriot League-sponsored fall championship sports.
