Last year the Crusaders fell to the Wildcats, 2-1, in their home-opener and season-opener on Aug. 24. Junior forward Lauren Wright (Biglerville, Pa.) scored the lone Crusader goal, while New Hampshire's goal scorers, Michelle Sheehan and Caitlin Whelan, have graduated. The Wildcats hold a 3-1 record over the Crusaders over the past four seasons. The Crusaders' last win over the Wildcats was a 1-0 victory in 2006.
  • Holy Cross picked up its fourth win of the season on Sept. 15 with a 6-0 victory over Wagner. The victory was the Crusaders' fourth win in seven games and is the quickest the Crusaders have reached the four win mark since the 2001 season when they won four of the first five games of the season.
  • The six goals scored in the 6-0 victory over Wagner were the most goals scored by a Holy Cross women's soccer team since Oct. 18, 1987 when the Crusaders defeated Niagra 6-0. Senior Chelsi Pugliese (Pembroke, Mass.) and freshman Maura Fox (Shrewsbury, Mass.) each scored their first career goals against Wagner, while sophomore Katherine Donnelly (Londonderry, N.H.) scored her first goal of the season.
  • Senior Shelby Stand (Douglas, Mass.) scored two of the Crusader goals in the victory over Wagner, bringing her season total to a team leading five goals. Stand leads the Patriot League in goals per game, averaging 0.71 goals per game. Her 1.43 average points per game are second in the Patriot League.
