- The Crusaders (3-2-1 overall) will host Wagner on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at the Linda Johnson Smith Soccer Stadium at 7:00 p.m. The Seahawks own a 1-3 record, defeating Delaware State University 7-0. Last season, the Crusaders defeated Wagner 3-1 at Staten Island, N.Y. Sophomore midfielder Katherine Donnelly (Londonderry, N.H.) scored a pair of goals, including the game winner to lead the Crusaders to victory.
- On Friday, Sept. 18, Holy Cross welcomes Fairfield to Worcester for a 7:00 match up. The Stags are 2-3 overall and will play Bryant on Sept. 15 before taking the field against Holy Cross. On Aug. 28 the Stags fell to common-opponent Boston College 5-0, while Holy Cross lost to the Eagles 4-0 on Sept. 6. In 2008, Holy Cross fell to Fairfield 2-1 in Fairfield, Conn. Donnelly scored the only Holy Cross goal of the game.
- Two Crusaders earned career firsts in the 2-0 victory over Central Connecticut on Friday, Sept. 11. Sophomores Kelsey Dillon (Barrington, R.I.) and Liz Early (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) each scored their first career goals. Dillon's goal was the first of the night and the eventual game-winner.
- Holy Cross' victory over Central Connecticut was its third win of the season and the quickest the team has tallied three wins since the 2001 season when it picked up its third win on Sept. 8 with a 2-1 victory over Maine. The 2001 Crusaders went on to tally a 6-9-2 overall record, the most Holy Cross wins since then.
