WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross women's rowing squad has placed 26 student-athletes on the 2007 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by league officials. Freshman Emily Turner (Louisville, Ky.) led the Crusaders with a 3.93 grade point average during the spring semester, the seventh-highest mark in the conference. A total of 96 student-athletes were named to this year's women's rowing honor roll.
In addition to Turner, representing the Crusaders are seniors Allison Humphreys (Marlton, N.J.), Megan Russell (Andover, Mass.) and Abigail Scully (Andover, Mass.); juniors Valerie Jackson (East Lyme, Conn.) and Allison Kaufman (Northport, N.Y.); sophomores Clare Bracikowski (Nashville, Tenn.), Johanna Cubelli (Boonton Township, N.J.), Katie Donnelly (Marstons Mills, Mass.), Maura Hogan (Holliston, Mass.), Beth McNaught (Asan, Guam) and Kelly St. Germain (Cambridge, Mass.); and freshmen Erin Barrett (South Windsor, Conn.), Christine Bray (Warwick, R.I.), Amanda Dipersia (Worcester, Mass.), Caitlin Dold (White Plains, N.Y.), Ashley Fish (Hingham, Mass.), Chloe Gordon (Shrewsbury, Mass.), Erika Harrington (Bellingham, Wash.), Charlotte Holler (Westwood, Mass.), Caroline Krug (Hamburg, N.Y.), Caroline Paul (Asheville, N.C.), Mara Piltin (Medford, N.J.), Emma Reilly (East Longmeadow, Mass.), Allie Scherer (Danvers, Mass.) and Andrea Simari (Rochester, Minn.).
To be eligible for the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter.
