PRINCETON, N.J. - The Holy Cross women's rowing team competed in the Princeton Charles Race Regatta on Sunday afternoon. The Crusaders competed in the women's open eight race and the women's second open eight race.
In the women's open eight race, Holy Cross' A boat placed 32nd in a time of 16:49.439 and the B boat finished in 42nd place with a time of 17:55.465 out of 43 boats. The Crusaders' A boat was coxswain senior Katie Donnelly (Marstons Mills, Mass.), junior Monika Mangsen (Holden, Mass.), junior Mara Piltin (Medford, N.J.), senior Johanna Cubelli (Boonton Township, N.J.), freshman Bethany Charron (Manchester, N.H.), Abby Hammond, sophomore Katherine Byrns (Manhasset, N.Y.), senior co-captain Clare Bracikowski (Brentwood, Tenn.) and Gosha Smas.
The B boat Laura LeBourdais, Maura Hogan, senior Lis Flaherty (Lincolnwood, Ill.), freshman Meaghan Pedlow (Charlotte, N.C.), sophomore Nicole Gabana (East Stroudsburg, Pa.), senior Meridith Malysz (Wilbrahem, Mass.), senior co-captain Kelly St. Germain (Cambridge, Mass.), sophomore Jackie Jankowski (Shrewsbury, Mass.) and sophomore Laura Dillon (Melrose, Mass.).
The Crusaders will return to action for their final race of the fall season, traveling to Hanover, N.H. to compete in the Green Monster Regatta on Sunday, November, 1, beginning at 12:00 p.m.
