Women's Rowing Participates In "Row For Tracy" Rowathon
On February 9 the Holy Cross women's rowing team participated in a rowathon at GH2 Fitness to raise money for Tracy Rivera and the Rivera family, as she battles an aggressive form of brain cancer. The event raised a total of $6,000 for the cause and the Crusaders' contributed $700 to the overall amount. The Crusaders' had three teams of eight participate in the event and each team rowed a half marathon (21,097 meters). Holy Cross posted the best time of 1:18:46.8. The rowathon was a great success for an amazing cause, and a wonderful day for all who participated.
