WORCESTER, Mass. - Senior coxswain Claire Scherer (Kenmore, N.Y.) has been named the AT&T Crusader of the Week, for competition from October 16-22. Scherer helped the women's varsity eight to a second place finish at the Head of the Charles Regatta on Saturday.
In the club eight race at the Head of the Charles, Scherer navigated Holy Cross through one of the most difficult courses in the country, to a second place finish out of 34 boats.
