  • On Saturday, Oct. 20, the Holy Cross women's rowing team will compete at the 48th Head of the Charles Regatta on the Charles River in Boston. The Crusaders will compete in the club eight race at 1:35 p.m. as Holy Cross "A" will be at Bow 8 and Holy Cross "B" will be at Bow 31. Go here for the schedule.
  • The Head of the Charles is the world's largest two-day rowing event. This event started on Oct. 16, 1965. Last year, the Crusaders placed eighth out of 21 boats in the club eight race, placed 28th out of 45 boats in the club four race and placed 17th in the championship four race out of 20. In 1993, the varsity eight won the gold medal at the Head of the Charles.
  • After the Head of the Charles, the Crusaders will conclude their fall season at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta in Philadelphia on Saturday, Oct. 27. The Crusaders will announce their spring schedule at a later date.
  • The varsity eight has won both of its races during the fall season as the Crusaders placed first in the club eight race out of 17 boats at the Textile River Regatta and then finished first out of 48 boats at the Snake Regatta.
