Crusaders To Start Spring Season On Lake Quinsigamond On March 31 & April 1

Sunday, April 1 vs. Bates, Rochester, Trinity, Wellesley & WPI, Worcester, Mass., 10:20 a.m.

  • The Holy Cross women's rowing team will start its spring season on March 31-April 1 on Lake Quinsigamond. On Saturday, the Crusaders will race against Simmons and Smith. Go here for the schedule. On Sunday they will take on Bates, Rochester, Trinity, Wellesley and WPI. Go here for the schedule.  
  • After this weekend, the Crusaders will meet UMass and Boston College on April 7 on Lake Quinsigamond. Holy Cross will hit the road to compete at the Knecht Cup (April 14-15) on the Cooper River. The Crusaders will then return for two straight regattas on Lake Quinsigamond. Holy Cross will take on Colby, Connecticut College, Ithaca and William Smith (April 21) and then Connecticut (April 22). The Crusaders will return to the Cooper River for the Patriot League Championship (April 29). After Holy Cross competes on Lake Quinsigamond at the New England Championship (May 5), the Crusaders will return to Camden for the Eastern Sprints (May 13).
  • Recently, the Crusaders went on a spring training trip to Cocoa Beach, Fla. The Crusaders used the trip to prepare for the spring season. Read about the trip here.
  • During the fall season, the varsity eight placed fourth out of 36 boats at the Snake Regatta. The Crusaders placed eighth out of 21 boats in the club eight race at the Head of the Charles. The second varsity eight placed third and the third varsity eight finished eighth out of 16 boats at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta.
